Voter Registration Underway for November Elections

vote7September is National Voter Registration Month and Georgia Secretary of State Brian Kemp is reminding people that time is running out to register if you want to be able to vote in November.

There are a number of easy ways to get registered in time for this year’s elections.

You can come by office here in Carnesville,” said Franklin County Elections Superintendent Tess Eubanks. “Or you can go online to the Secretary of State’s Web site, download and fill out a form and mail it in. If you are a student, you can go by your registrar’s office and they can register you. Or you can go by your local public library and they can register you there as well.”

Deadline to register to vote in time for the November elections is October 7th.
