Viryln Franklin Chitwood, 86, of the New Franklin community, passed away peacefully at home the morning of June 6^th, 2017. Services will be Thursday afternoon at 2pm at the New Franklin Christian Church. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The body is at the Ginn Funeral Home. The family is at the home.  They will receive friends from 6 until 8pm at the Ginn Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to New Franklin Christian Church cemetery fund. 4244 New Franklin Church Road, Canon, Georgia 30520.
