Mrs. Virginia Gale (Vickery) Burgess, age 79, of Martin, Georgia, died on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at her home.  Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, May 22, 2022, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Lavonia.  Burial will follow in Franklin Memorial Gardens – North. The family will receive friends at the church Sunday, May 22, 2022, from 2:30 p.m. until the service.  Strickland Funeral Home of Lavonia is in charge of the arrangements.
