Ty Cobb Museum to Closed Temporarily

The Ty Cobb Museum to Close Temporarily during the COVID-19 Outbreak.

The Ty Cobb Museum is closely monitoring the latest developments
regarding the COVID-19 Novel Coronavirus outbreak. The pandemic
details are changing moment by moment. Due to those changes, and the
latest recommendations of the CDC, the Ty Cobb Museum will close to
the public beginning tomorrow, March 17, 2020. We plan to re-open on
Monday, April 6, 2020. At the time of reopening, our hours will be
10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday.

There have not been any reported cases of the virus at the museum with
guests or staff, but we are compelled to follow the best practices for
social distancing as outlined by various government agencies and the
World Health Organization to ensure the well-being of our community
and our staff.

The Ty Cobb Museum email will be monitored daily [email protected]. You may also obtain more information by following us on our Facebook page, and other social media outlets, or on our website www.tycobbmuseum.org.

The Ty Cobb Museum will continue to monitor the situation and make
decisions as needed regarding additional measures.
