Two Arrested in Hart County Drug Trafficking Bust

In Hart County, two people are charged with trafficking marijuana after Hart County Sheriff’s investigators and agents with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation conducted two search warrants.

In a press release issued by Sheriff Mike Cleveland Wednesday, GBI agents and Hart County Investigators went to a home on Ridge Road Tuesday where they recovered what Cleveland said was a “trafficking amount of marijuana” along with cash and a handgun.

On Wednesday another search warrant was conducted at another location, which resulted in an additional trafficking amount of marijuana, cash, and another weapon.

Arrested was arrested 21-year-old Alilse Diamond Scott and 25-year-old Bryson Jordan, Jr.

Scott is charged with Trafficking Marijuana – Felony; Tampering with Evidence – Misdemeanor; Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Crime-Felony; Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute – Felony

Jordan is charged with Trafficking Marijuana – Felony; Tampering with Evidence – Misdemeanor; Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Crime-Felony; Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon: Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute – Felony

Cleveland said over 40 lbs of high-quality marijuana was seized, two semi-automatic weapons, over $11,000 in cash as well as a Jail Break Hell Cat Dodge Charger with a value of approximately $100,000.
