Today is the Last Day to Register to Vote for May Primary

The May Primary and General Election is coming up faster than you think and if you plan to vote, but are not yet registered or not sure if you are still registered, Franklin County Elections Supervisor Tracie Creason says today is the last day to make sure.

Additionally, Creason said absentee paper ballots are expected to be mailed out today as soon as they get word from the Secretary of State’s office.

With delays and problems with the USPS mail service during the Presidential Preference Primary if you have requested an absentee paper ballot, it’s a good idea to check with your local election office to make sure first, that the ballot has been mailed and if after three or more days if you haven’t yet received it to call your local post office to find out where it is.

And finally, Advance Voting begins on Monday, April 29, and runs through Friday, May 17 at your local County Elections office.
