Toccoa Woman Charged with Animal Cruelty
A Toccoa woman is charged in White County with animal cruelty after neighbors called authorities about a bad odor coming from her apartment.
According to AccessWDUN, Cleveland Police were called to an apartment complex in Cleveland and did smell a foul odor but could not get the door to the apartment open.
A keyholder was able to open the apartment and inside officers found a dead and decomposing puppy along with feces and rooms in general disarray.
Arrested was 31-year-old Kandice Johnson of Toccoa.
White County Animal Control officers assisted in the incident and took possession of the deceased puppy.
