Toccoa Harvest Festival Takes Place Oct. 29, 30

It is time for the 45th Annual Toccoa Harvest Festival.

Toccoa Main Street Spokeswoman Sharon Crosby says this year’s event is scheduled for the weekend of October 29 and 30 in downtown Toccoa.

The festival will take place from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm Saturday and on Sunday, 10:00 am – 4:00 pm.

Crosby said more than 150 craft and food vendors will be on hand and all crafts will be homemade, home-baked, or home-grown.

Food trucks and food booths will provide a wide range of mouth-watering treats including homemade cakes and fried pies, funnel cakes, peanuts, Asian, Greek, and Cajun style entrees, Bar-B-Q, and classic American favorites as well.

A classic car show on Saturday, as well as children’s activities and rides on both days, will ensure that there is something for everyone.

The Currahee Artist Guild will also have a show and sale as part of the festival.

Crosby said there will be continuous live entertainment on two stages on both days.

Additionally, antique markets, boutiques, restaurants, the Historical Society Museum, and Currahee Military Museum will also be open.

Again, Toccoa’s Harvest Festival takes place the weekend of October 29 and 30 in downtown Toccoa.
