Toccoa Chamber to Host Pre-Legislative Coffee This Week

The Toccoa-Stephens County Chamber of Commerce’s annual Pre-Legislative Coffee event will be held Thursday.

State House Representative for District 32 Chris Erwin and 50th District State Senator Bo Hatchett will meet with local business leaders and community members to discuss the issues facing the Georgia General Assembly when the session opens on January 9.

The Toccoa-Stephens County Chamber of Commerce is hosting the annual event beginning at 9 a.m. at the Currahee Club, located at 1 Currahee Club Drive, in Toccoa.

According to Toccoa-Stephens County Chamber of Commerce President Julie Paysen, Erwin and Hatchett will both provide updates on the top issues and share their insights to challenges and concerns during the upcoming General Assembly.

She says Erwin and Hatchett will also take questions from the audience.

Paysen adds that all community leaders, business owners, Chamber members, and citizens are invited to attend.

Coffee and desserts will be served.
