The Toccoa-Stephens County Chamber of Commerce celebrated one of its newest members, The Venue at the Star Theater, with a ribbon tying ceremony

A ribbon tying ceremony symbolizes a community coming around a new business or organization in support of the services it provides.

The Venue at the Star Theater is owned by Jim and Christy Swafford.

Christy spoke about the many services they offer as an event venue.

She says they will be hosting a Block Party on December 31, for the community to come see the Venue at the Star Theater.

Toccoa Mayor Evan Hellenga thanked the Swafford’s for their investment in Toccoa-Stephens County.

The Venue at the Star Theater is located at 55 West Doyle Street, in Downtown Toccoa.
