Teechee: Pretty Pit Mix Available for Adoption at Hart County Humane Society

For months, this 2-year-old mixed-breed cutie was making her home as a stray at a local golf club in Hart County.

“Teechee,” as she came to be called, made many friends during her time at Cateechee Golf Club but when everyone went home at night the sweet dog gathered dirty rags used to wipe down golf carts and made herself a bed in the best place she could to lay on.

It was clear she had had puppies but they were never found.

We just couldn’t have her stay there any longer; the nearby road is a busy one and soon she would be pregnant again. She needed her own family to love her forever.

Teechee is smart and affectionate and available for adoption to a family who will let her live inside, keep her safe, and love her forever.

She is eager to learn and happy to be with people who are kind to her.

Teechee has been spayed, and microchipped. She is heartworm-negative, appropriately vaccinated, and has been treated for parasites.

If you think Teechee might be the companion you have been looking for please fill out an application at harthumane.org.
