Suspect Wanted in Shooting Captured

Photo: Manhunt underway for Robert Lynn Shook, 37 in our area. Shook was allegedly involved in a shooting in Cornelia early Sunday during a burglary. He was traced earlier to the Franklin County area. Shook is a white male, 5' 9", 240 lbs, with dark brown hair and goatee. Anyone with information is asked to call 911. You do not have to give your name.A manhunt has ended for a Rabun County man authorities say was involved in a shooting and burglary over the weekend.

According to Habersham County Sheriff’s office, 37-year old Robert Lynn Shook allegedly shot a victim during a burglary in Cornelia early Sunday.

Authorities say a trace of his cell phone traced Shook to the Franklin County area on Sunday.  Habersham County authorities say Shook was captured early today, but few details have been released.

Shook is charged with aggravated assault and has been taken to the Habersham County Detention Center in Clarkesville.
