St. Mary’s Oconee Heart and Vascular Center Moving to Sacred Heart Hospital

The Oconee Heart and Vascular Center will soon have new offices in Lavonia.

St. Mary’s Healthcare announced Wednesday, the Center is moving its Northeast Georgia office from Toccoa to St. Mary’s Sacred Heart Hospital in Lavonia.

St. Mary’s Healthcare spokesman Mark Ralston says the move is a practical one.

“Because it serves Franklin, Hart and Stephens County, they want to move it to Sacred Heart Hospital to have a more central location,” Ralston said. “The doctors will remain the same, the only difference is patients will be going to Sacred Heart Hospital. It also means their offices will be next to some of the diagnostic services we have at Sacred Heart so it will actually be more convenient for patients.”

Oconee Heart and Vascular Center is a full-service cardiac practice offering a complete continuum of care for the heart and blood vessels.

Capabilities include heart attack prevention and care; balloon angioplasty and stent implantation; electrophysiology for treatment of rhythm disorders; as well as evaluation and treatment of peripheral artery disease; heart failure treatment and management to name a few.

The new office address will be 355 Clear Creek Parkway, Suite 1008, Lavonia. Office visits will be available on Tuesdays.

Physicians practicing at the clinic will be L. Steven Lowman, M.D., Charles Neckman, M.D., and Amit Shah, M.D.
