Spike: Sweet Shepherd-Lab Mix Puppy Looking for Forever Home

Spike – Available for adoption at the Northeast Georgia Animal Shelter in Lavonia

This is Spike. He’s pretty much grown up at the Northeast Georgia Animal Shelter and has never known what it’s like to run and play and be loved by a family or a person.

Spike was turned into the shelter when he was just about four months old and has been there ever since in a kennel run waiting for someone to take him home.

Now he’s around 8 months old and he still waits.

Spike loves everyone, people, kids, other dogs, and even cats. He’s still full of puppy energy so he needs a home where he can run and play. He would be ideal for a family with older children or someone with an active lifestyle.

He would love to go hiking, swimming, or play a good game of fetch in his own yard and curl up next to his favorite people at night, exhausted but happy.

Spike is current on his vaccines except for rabies (which can only be administered by a vet). His $75 adoption fee covers his neuter and his rabies vaccine.

The shelter is open today and Saturday, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from 11a to 4p on Bear Creek Road in Lavonia.

Please come by the shelter on Bear Creek Road and meet Spike. Don’t let him go another day alone..in a kennel.
