Shelby: Pyrenees/Lab Mix Available at the Northeast Georgia Animal Shelter

Shelby is a big girl but a loving girl.

Shelby was turned into the Northeast Georgia Animal Shelter as a stray in early November. No one has come to claim her so she is now up for adoption. Shelter Director Tammi Jourdenais said they estimate Shelby is 2-3 years.

“She is really sweet with people and great with children, but selective about which dogs she likes and she likes to chase cats,” Jourdenais said. “She would be perfect for someone who loves large dogs and wants one dog.”

Shelby is big but she would make a great family, inside dog.

Her adoption fee is $75 and includes her spay. She is current on her vaccinations and rabies shot.

The Northeast Georgia Animal Shelter is located on Bear Creek Road in Lavonia. They are open Tuesday and Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 11a to 4p. The phone number is 706-356-5363. You can also contact them via their Facebook Page.
