Mrs. Shelby Jean Wood Wilbanks, age 83, of Lavonia, Georgia, died on Sunday, April 17, 2022 at St. Mary’s Sacred Heart Hospital.  Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 19, 2022, in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home of Lavonia.  Burial will follow in the Lavonia City-Burgess Cemetery.  The body is at Strickland Funeral Home where the family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. until the service time.  Online condolences may also be sent to the family by visiting www.stricklandfh.com.  Strickland Funeral Home – Lavonia Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
