Second Week of Early Voting Begins Today

This is the second week of early voting for the May 24th General Primary and Non-Partisan Election in Georgia.

Early voting takes place from 9a to 5p in both the Franklin County and Hart County Board of Elections offices. Another Saturday early voting day is this Saturday, May 14th. Early voting ends Friday, May 20th.

In the local races, voters in both Franklin and Hart counties will be deciding on the Board of Commissioner and Board of Education races.

Voters are also choosing candidates for state and federal races, including Governor, Lt. Governor, U.S. Senate, Georgia Secretary of State, and U.S. Representative District 9.

In Franklin County, voters go to the Franklin County Elections and Registrations Office in Carnesville.

Elections Supervisor Gina Bannister also advises voters who want an absentee ballot to get their requests in before this Friday, which is the last day for her to mail out absentee ballots.

In Hart County, voters go to the Elections and Registrations office on Cade St. in Hartwell to cast an early ballot.
