Mrs. Sara Sanders Whitworth, 94, of Jefferson, formerly of Hartwell, passed away Monday, February 14, 2022 at Park Place Nursing and Rehab in Monroe, GA. The family will receive friends Friday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell. Other times the family will be at their respective homes. Funeral services for Mrs. Sara Whitworth will be held Friday, February 18, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Sean Payne officiating. Burial will be in the Cross Roads Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cross Roads Baptist Church Family Life Center, 3636 Lavonia Hwy, Hartwell, GA 30643.
