Royston Fall Festival Promises to be Bigger Than Ever Saturday

Royston is celebrating the change of seasons this weekend with their annual fall festival.

Sponsored by the Royston Downtown Development Authority and Better Hometown, director Candy Rhoades says there this year’s event will be bigger than in years past.

“The festival is going to be phenomenal,” she said. “We will have about 120 vendors, more than last year. There will be great food and entertainment throughout the day.”

Out of all of the local fall festivals and events in our area, the Royston Fall Festival is the only one that goes from early morning until late into the evening.  This year will be no different with lots of new vendors and great entertainment, according to Rhoades.

“Entertainment that evening will be provided by Scott Brantley and then later in the evening there will be fireworks,” she said. “We usually have people arriving early around 9a and leaving long after the band and fireworks. We also have a lot of food and craft vendors who stay as well into the evening.’

Rhoades said there will a lot of new vendors this year and lots of good food to sample.  The Royston Fall Festival takes place Saturday beginning at 9a in downtown Royston.
