Robert Varnes

Mr. Robert Lee Varnes, age 86, of Hull, Georgia, formerly of Madison, Georgia, died on Monday, September 5, 2022 at his home.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 9, 2022, at the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home of Lavonia.  Burial will follow in Franklin Memorial Gardens – North.  The body is at Strickland Funeral Home where the family will receive friends on Thursday, September 8, 2022, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.  Flowers are welcome, or donations can be made to the church of your choice or to Tin Can Sailor Inc, www.destroyers.org.  Online condolences may also be sent to the family by visiting www.stricklandfh.com.  Strickland Funeral Home – Lavonia Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
