Road Closure on CR 382/Unawatti Road at Unawatti Creek
Motorists traveling on Uniwatti Road in Canon should be prepared for some construction delays for the foreseeable future.
On Monday, crews with the Georgia Department of Transportation began working on County Road 382/Uniwatti Road to continue the construction of a new bridge and approaches over Uniwatti Creek.
The closure will be in place for approximately 120 days from Stone Bridge Road to Muddy Branch Road.
Motorists will be detoured along Stone Bridge Road, Grady School Road and Muddy Branch Road, and should expect delays traveling through the project.
G-DOT said the overall project should be completed by May, 2022 depending on the weather.
