Rain from Ian Expected to Dampen Some Weekend Events

The threat of rain this weekend in our area from what is now Hurricane Ian is putting a damper on some local events.

First, a schedule change for the game this week between the Franklin County Lions and the Hart County Bulldogs.

Due to the threat of rain Friday night from Ian, the game has been moved to tomorrow night, Thursday.

The two teams will meet up at Herndon Stadium on the campus of Hart County High School at 7:30p Thursday.

Also, the City of Canon is deciding on whether to postpone their fall Harvest Festival because of the expected rain Saturday.

Canon city officials expect to make that decision today.
