Mrs. Peggy Gaines Bruce, age 91, of Lavonia, passed away Friday, February 1, 2019 at Young at Heart Personal Care Home. The funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 4, 2019 at the Lavonia United Methodist Church with Rev. Courtney Umbehant officiating. Burial will follow in the Lavonia City – Burgess Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday afternoon from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Flowers are optional or memorials may be made to the Lavonia United Methodist Church, P.O.
