Patricia Mitchell Staples, age 76, of Elberton, formerly of Lavonia, passed away Sunday May 7, 2023. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 P.M. Monday at Strickland Funeral Home, Lavonia Chapel, 355 Bear Creek Road.  A celebration of life service will take place at 11:30 A.M. Tuesday at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with Reverend Bill Stacey officiating.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 10:30 A.M. until 11:15 A.M. before the service at the church.
