Mrs. Patricia (Abernathy) Barrett Turner, 71, of Toccoa, passed away Sunday, April 8, 2018 at her home following an extended illness. The funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at the Lavonia Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home. Cremation will follow the service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. At other times the families will be at their respective homes. In lieu of flowers the family request donation be made to help cover funeral expenses. Strickland Funeral Home of Lavonia is in charge of the arrangements.
