Parks White Announces Candidacy for Reelection as District Attorney of the Northern Judicial Circuit

Parks White announced on Tuesday his campaign for reelection to the office of District Attorney of the Northern Judicial Circuit. White was elected as the first Republican District Attorney of the Northern Circuit in 2012.
White said, “As I made clear four years ago, had I not kept my promise of aggressive and timely prosecution, I would not ask for your vote again.” White went on to state, “We have prosecuted cases in a timely manner, have earned the respect of law enforcement, and the fear of the criminal element. Based on the performance of our office, I am asking the people of the Northern Judicial Circuit again for their vote, and hope that they will again do me the honor of allowing me to serve them as their District Attorney.”
Parks graduated from Clemson University in 1997 with a B.S. in Mathematical Sciences and earned his law degree, from the University of Alabama. Following law school, Parks served as Assistant District Attorney under widely respected DA Danny Craig in Augusta before joining the United States Navy and serving as a Judge Advocate General (JAG) from 2007 through 2011. While serving his country, he graduated from the Naval Justice School with honors and won the American Association for Justice Trial Advocacy award.
The Northern Judicial Circuit contains Hart, Elbert, Franklin, Madison, and Oglethorpe Counties. The Republican primary will be held May 24th and early voting begins May 2nd.
