Northeast GA Animal Shelter Spring Rabies Clinic Set for Saturday

A reminder that this weekend the Northeast Georgia Animal Shelter will hold its annual spring rabies clinic.

The clinic takes place at the shelter on Bear Creek Road in Lavonia, on Saturday, April 13 from 10a to 2p.

Shelter Director Tammi Jourdenais is encouraging anyone who needs to have their pet vaccinated to take advantage of the low-cost clinic.

You don’t have to be a resident of Franklin County to take advantage of the low-cost rabies and other vaccines.

In addition to helping pet owners keep their animals safe, the rabies clinic is also a fundraiser for the shelter, according to Jourdenais.

Again, the rabies clinic takes place this Saturday from 10a to 2p at the shelter on Bear Creek Road in Lavonia.

Please make sure your animals are on a leash or in a crate.

Payment must be by cash or check only. They will not accept credit or debit cards.
