New Adventures Coming to State Parks

Unicoi State Park introduces its new aerial adventure park.
The first phase of the adventure park provides canopy tours via elevated bridges and zip lines near the lodge.
There are nearly a dozen zip lines of different heights and lengths, that reach speeds of up to 20 to 30 miles per hour.
Thomas Kerns, manager of the attraction at Unicoi, says the goal is to have 10 guides certified in first aid and high ropes rescue trained for safety.
American Adventure Park Systems has partnered with Coral Hospitality to create this aerial adventure park.
With phase one being completed at Unicoi, They will now start planning for a similar park at Amicalola Falls State Park in Dawsonville.
