NE Georgia Animal Shelter Needs Deliveries of Old Newspapers

The Northeast Georgia Animal Shelter is putting the call out for your old newspapers.

Shelters use newspapers as lining for cages, extra potty pads, and other uses.

Shelter Director Tammi Jourdenais said they are very low on newspapers and they need all they can get.

Another item they need is large shredded paper.

Shredded paper is used to line the puppy and small dog pens, as well as bedding for certain small animals they may take in.

If you have a stack of old newspapers you don’t know what to do with please consider dropping them off at the Northeast Georgia Animal Shelter.

The shelter is open Fridays and Saturdays and Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 11a to 4p and they’re located on Bear Creek Road in Lavonia just past the ball fields.
