More Voter Information for December 6 Run-off

We have more information for voters on the upcoming run-off for the U.S. Senate Seat between incumbent Senator Raphael Warnock and challenger Herschel Walker.

Eligible voters are those who registered before November 7, 2022 deadline may vote in the December 6 runoff even if they did not vote on November 8.

If you voted in the General Election and submitted a change of address, name change, or any other type of change after November 7, it will NOT be processed before the runoff election.

Absentee by-mail voters who met the requirements and chose to “Opt-in to receive an absentee ballot for the rest of the election cycle,” will automatically receive an absentee ballot for the runoff.

Voters that are not eligible to “opt-in”, or did not mark the choice to opt-in, will need to re-apply for an absentee ballot. Only those 65 and older, or disabled, are eligible for this option.

The last day to request an absentee ballot is Nov. 28.

All counties must submit certify their elections by tomorrow at 5p.

Then on the 17th the State will conduct a risk-limiting audit for the November 8, 2022, General Election. The race that will be audited is the Secretary of State.

There will be a hand count of random batches from all counties to compare to the scanner results. The audit is open to the public.
