Mr. Lawrence Hayward “Monty” Montgomery Sr., 78, of  Bowersville, passed away Friday, March 10, 2017 at Stephens County Hospital, Toccoa. Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell. Burial will be in the Memorial Garden of Prayer. The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday night. The family is at the home. Flowers are optional, memorials may be made to offset Medical and Funeral expenses. The Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
