Michael Risner

Mr. Michael Wayne Risner, 68, of Hartwell, passed away Sunday, April 9, 2023 at St. Mary’s Sacred Heart Hospital in Lavonia. The family will receive friends Thursday afternoon from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.  Other times the family will be at their respective homes. Funeral services for Mr. Michael Risner will be held Thursday, April 11, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Mr. Fred Greenway officiating.  Burial will be in the Reed Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 33607.
