Mercy: Sweet Abandoned Shepherd-mix Puppy Now Searching for Forever Family

Mercy was part of a litter abandoned on the side of the road

Mercy is a sweet, four-month-old female German Shepherd mix.

Mercy and her littermates were abandoned along a rural county road. It was late at night when a good Samaritan found the puppies and called the Hart County Humane Society for help. The puppies were very thin, one was injured.

Mercy is being fostered in a private home dedicated to her care.  She is a quiet, calm puppy.

The puppy now weighs 15 pounds, we expect she will grow to approximately 45 pounds when fully grown.

Mercy is spayed, microchipped, appropriately vaccinated, and treated for parasites. She is crate/supervised house trained, gets along with other dogs, cats, and people of all ages.

Applications to adopt our very deserving Mercy can be found at harthumane.org.

The Hart County Humane Society is a volunteer rescue organization. We receive no funding from any government agencies or other groups. We are a 501C3 non-profit organization.

Donations are desperately needed to fund our foster/rescue and spay/neuter programs. Donations can be mailed to P.O. BOX 1062 Hartwell Georgia 30643 or be made online through pay pal at harthumane.org. Please help us help the animals in our community.
