Maurice Buffington

Maurice Lee Buffington, age 70, of Lavonia, passed away Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at Stephens County Hospital. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at the Lavonia Church of God with Rev. Gettis Allen, Rev. Jeff Carter, and Rev. Lonnie Bennett officiating. Burial will follow in the Lavonia City – Burgess Cemetery. The Lavonia Fire Department will serve as pallbearers and honorary escort. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. At other hours the family will be at the home.
