Mrs. Mary Evelyn Durham Mitchell, 88, of Anderson, SC, formerly of Royston, passed away Sunday, July 2, 2017 at Rainey Hospice House in Anderson, SC. Funeral services will held on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell. Burial will be in the Iva City Cemetery. The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday prior to the service. The family is at their respective homes. The Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
