Miss Mary Elizabeth Chitwood, 27, of Canon, passed away Friday, September 2, 2022 at St. Mary’s Sacred Heart Hospital, Lavonia. A memorial service celebrating Miss Mary Chitwood’s life will be held Thursday, September 8, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Creason officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. At other times, the family will be at the home.
