Mary Carter

Mrs. Mary Helen Brooks Carter, 92, of Hartwell, Georgia, died on Thursday, February 23, 2023, at her home.  A service celebrating her life will be held Monday, February 27, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Hartwell First United Methodist Church.  A reception will follow the service in the church fellowship hall.  A private interment service will be at the Northview Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hartwell First United Church, 200 East Howell Street, Hartwell, GA 30643, Hart County Food Pantry, 130 East Howell Street, Hartwell GA 30643 or to a charity of one’s choice.  Online condolences may also be sent to the family by visiting www.stricklandfh.com.  Strickland Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Hartwell, Georgia, in charge of all arrangements.
