Luther Leonard Moore, age 94, of Lavonia, died Friday March 4, 2016 at Brookdale Assisted Living of Hartwell.The funeral service will be held at 11 am Monday March 7, 2016 at the Lavonia Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home. A private burial will follow in Providence United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 10 am until the service hour. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Providence United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund. Lavonia, Ga. Strickland Funeral Home Lavonia chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
