Local Law Enforcement on the Lookout for Large Gentleman in Red Suit with 8 Tiny Reindeer

 

Law Enforcement in Franklin and Hart Counties looking for suspect in a red suit driving a sleigh filled with gifts

Lavonia, Royston, Canon, Franklin Springs, and Hartwell Police along with Franklin County and Hart County Sheriff’s offices are asking the public, mainly children, to be on the lookout this weekend for a male subject expected to be in the area Saturday night.

911 Dispatch has put out a lookout to all law enforcement for the Subject known to some as Kris Kringle AKA Santa Claus AKA Saint Nick.

“Dispatch to all units. Stand by for a BOLO. Dispatch, all units. Be on the lookout for an elderly male subject, 5’10”, 300 pounds, with white hair, a long white beard, wearing a red velvet suit with white fur and a matching hat. The subject was last seen carrying a large red sack over his shoulder. He’s been seen entering numerous homes from the rooftops. The subject is reportedly leaving gifts with colorful paper at people’s houses. He was last seen heading north in a sleigh pulled by eight tiny reindeer. He has many aliases but is most commonly known as Santa. If spotted, do not detain. He has Christmas cheer to spread in Franklin and Hart counties. Dispatch is clear at 20:03.”
