A number of Northeast Georgia county commissioners have publicly endorsed State Agriculture Commissioner Gary Black’s run for the U.S. Senate.

Last week Black’s campaign announced a total of 101 county commissioners from across Georgia endorsed Gary Black for U.S. Senate.

Endorsements have come from Hart County Commissioners Michael Bennett, Commission vice-chair Joey Dorsey, and Commission Chairman Marshal Sayers.

“It has been my honor to work with county commissioners across the state on many issues — and they are on the front lines of the most critical ones,” Gary said. “They have always given it to me straight and they are focused on solutions, so we speak the same language.”

These commissioners join a growing grassroots army of support for Gary’s Senate campaign which includes:

Public Service Commissioner Bubba McDonald

Public Service Commissioner Tricia Pridemore

75 Georgia Sheriffs from both parties, including law enforcement in Franklin, Hart, Stephens, Madison, and Banks counties.
