Lavonia Tree Lighting Tonight
Lavonia is kicking off the holiday season with a series of events.
Sunday, hundreds of families lined the streets of downtown Lavonia for the annual Christmas parade. And tonight, the town will join other towns across Northeast Georgia for its annual tree lighting event.
This year’s theme is, “Lavonia in Lights.” The tree lighting begins at 6p at the Gazebo on Main St.
Then on December 13th is the town’s annual Christmas festival in downtown Lavonia.
And throughout December, the local farmer’s market will be open every Saturday for their annual Christmas market.
