Mr. James Lamar Turner, 79, of Hartwell, passed away Friday, September 8, 2017 in the Kindred Hospice Unit at Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be Sunday, September 10, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell. Burial will be in the Memorial Garden of Prayer. The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday evening. The family is at the home. The Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
