Mr. James N. “Jimmy” Burns, 80, of Hartwell, passed away Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at his home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 22, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church with Rev. Jason Webb officiating. Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park. The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday evening. The family is at the home. Flowers optional, memorials may be made to Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, 2973 Mt. Olivet Road, Hartwell, GA 30643. The Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
