Mr. Jeremiah “Jerry” Blackwell, 76, of Lavonia, died Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at his home. The funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 3, 2017 at the Lavonia Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Lavonia City ~ Burgess Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.  Strickland Funeral Home – Lavonia Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
