Herschel’s Raw Talent Winners Announced

Last month we told you about Herschel Walker’s goal of helping young talent market themselves via his Web site, Cinsay.com.

His Herschel’s Raw Talent competition was held last month at the Schaefer Center in Toccoa and recently, Walker announced the winners, which included a Royston man, as well as two runners-up from Hartwell and Elberton.

First place went to Shauna Fortson of Toccoa.  She will receive $1000.

Second place and $500 went to Caleb Phillips of Royston, and third place and $250 went to Matthew Smith of Sandy Springs.  The top three winners also have their performances put into a video posted online on the “Cinsay” video player website.

They can earn money through e-commerce associated with their video.   Meantime, 12 other runners-up are also included as part of the video on “Cinsay.”

They are Chuck Taylor of Toccoa, Jamee Floyd of Hartwell, April Strickland of Toccoa, Zion Moore of Stone Mountain, Blayne Hiner of Toccoa, Keith Tooley of Martin, D-Earl of Cleveland, Johnmark Hendrix of Toccoa, Cameron Johnson of Wrightsville, Tyler Cash of Toccoa, Ryan Long of Cornelia, and Clay Page of Elberton.

They will also have the opportunity to market their videos on the Internet with the help of Cinsay.
