Authorities believe this man took a wallet from a car in the Bi-Lo parking lot in Seneca

The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help to find a suspect involved in a theft at the Bi-Lo in Seneca.

It happened July 26th according to Oconee County Sheriff Mike Crenshaw.

Crenshaw tells WLHR news a deputy with the Uniform Patrol Division spoke with a the victim on the morning of July 26th .

The victim said someone broke into their vehicle in the parking lot of the Bi-Lo overnight and took a wallet containing a driver’s license and ATM cards.

According to surveillance pictures obtained by the Sheriff’s Office, show a white male in a white four-door sedan attempting to use the victim’s ATM card at a Bank of America branch later that morning.

The video shows a white male in his mid to late 30’s, thin with a small beard.

At the time he tried to use the ATM, he was wearing a dark cap and dark t-shirt and smoking a cigarette.

Anyone with information on the identity or whereabouts of the suspect is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC or 864-638-STOP.

You don’t have to give your name.  However, if your tip leads to an arrest, you could be eligible for a cash reward.
