Hartwell Voters Electing Mayor, City Council Seats Today

In Hartwell, voters are deciding on three city council races and the mayor’s race.

According to Elections Supervisor Robin Webb, 393 people opted to vote early in person during the 3-week advance voting period and 90 absentee ballots have been returned so far.

In the Hartwell races:

Incumbent Mayor Brandon Johnson is running against challenger Jadrickus Patterson

For City Council, Bonnie Clark, Wintravious “Tray” Hill, Dan Leard, and Cynthia Wilkins are running to fill the seat being vacated by incumbent Arthur Craft who chose not to run for re-election.

Incumbent Councilman Tray Hicks is running against former Hart County Commissioner RC Oglesby

And incumbent Patrick Guarnella is being challenged by Robert “Bobby” Compton, and Richard Sheller.

Voters in Hartwell will go today to the Hart County Recreation Center to cast a ballot.
