Hartwell Lake Project Hiring Campground Attendants for 2022-2023 Season

The Corps of Engineers Hartwell Lake Project is looking for couples who would like to work as paid Contract Park Attendants for the 2022-2023 recreation season.

Ken Bedenbaugh is the Park Ranger for the Hartwell Lake Project and said the deadline to submit a bid is this Friday, the 25th at 3p.

He said they are looking for couples to be campground attendants for the Springfield and Watsadler Hartwell Lake Campgrounds.

Bedenbaugh said campground attendants’ duties include managing the gatehouse, computer operations, and customer service.

Bedenbaugh said attendants are required to live at the campgrounds during their four-day shift so they need to have their own RV or camper and they will be provided with a free full hookup campsite.

He said while these are paid positions, couples interested must submit a bid on the sam.gov website.

In order to submit a bid, you can go online to sam.gov/opp.

If you have not been a campground attendant in the past, before submitting a bid you need to register at sam.gov.

To get more information you can call the campground program manager Dale Bowen at 706-856-0348.
