Hart County School District Hiring Substitute Teachers for 2021-2022 School Year

Hart County’s school system is hiring substitute teachers and they have partnered with a new hiring service to find them.

On Thursday, the school system announced they have partnered with ESS.

Based in Knoxville, TN, ESS specializes in placing qualified staff in daily, long-term, and permanent K-12 school district positions including substitute teachers, paraprofessionals, and other school support staff.

ESS will be responsible for recruiting, credentialing, hiring, placing, and managing all substitute teachers in the Hart County School District.

If you are interested in applying for a substitute teaching position, you can go online to www.ESS.com to apply.

School starts in Hart County on August 1 and on their Website, the school system has announced that there is no need for parents and caregivers to purchase school supplies for next year (21-22 school year).

The school district has received enough CARES Act Funding from the Federal Government to cover the costs of all school supplies for students in grades Pre-K — 12th.

The district is also purchasing backpacks with Chromebook sleeves.

Additionally, all meals, including breakfast and lunch, for ALL students next year will again be free because the U.S. Department of Agriculture is extending its grant to all public schools in Georgia for the next school year.
