Hart County Charter Schools Hold Open House This Week

As Hart County students gear up to go back to school on Monday, Aug. 2, meet the teacher and open house events are being held at each school this week.

Middle and high school students can expect to meet their new teachers on Thursday, July 29.

Sixth graders will participate in transition camp from 9 a.m. until noon, and grades 7 and 8 will be invited into the school between the hours of 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Incoming high school freshmen will gather in the Fine Arts Center at 6 p.m.

Sophomores, juniors, and seniors will be welcomed into the building between the hours of 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.

Elementary students can anticipate meeting their teachers this Friday, July 30.

Pre-K and kindergarten students will participate in orientations at 5 p.m.

All other grade levels will be invited to drop-in between the hours of 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.

Addtionally, school supply lists won’t be necessary for the 2021-2022 school year.

The Hart County Charter System has purchased all the necessary school supplies and backpacks for each student for the upcoming school year using federal funds from the CARES Act.

Lands End has partnered with the School District to provide age appropriate bookbags with Chromebook sleeves for every student.
